Creative Ideas for Elementary School Teachers

Title/Subject: A Tree For All Seasons Submitted By: Ms. Christie
Date: 10/11/2006 Grade: Third
City: Courtland, VA Applicable for: Pre-K - Third
Idea:

Bring in a large tree branch. Place it in a coffee can filled with sand. In the fall, make colored leaves to hang on the branches. In the winter, hang paper snowflakes or holiday items on the tree. You can hang other seasonal items, such as pumpkins, mittens and flowering blossoms, from the tree branch as well. Be sure your choices are realistic for the season in your region.
