Creative Music and Song Ideas for the Elementary School Classroom

Title/Subject: Falling Leaves Submitted By: Ms. Christie
Date: 10/14/2006 Grade: Third
City: Courtland, VA Applicable for: Pre-K
Idea:
A seasonal song guaranteed to bring the fall spirit to your classroom!

This month is October
With leaves falling down (flutter hands down)
They make a nice carpet (move hands as if smoothing carpet)
All over the ground

Soon we will rake them (pretend to rake leaves)
Into a heap
Then into a big pile (take a big leap and fall down)
I can leap!
